About One Loop: Slitherlink
One Loop follows Slitherlink rules: trace a single closed circuit along a grid. Each number tells you how many of its square’s four edges belong to the circuit. There are 360 uniquely solvable boards: 120 Easy 5×5 puzzles, 120 Medium 6×6 and 120 Hard 7×7. The daily selection uses the browser’s date and the Hard collection. Hints correct an edge, Check reviews the board, and up to 300 new edge changes survive a reload for undo. Progress and statistics are local; this game has no cloud-save adapter.

How to play
Select a difficulty and New puzzle. Click an edge to cycle through line, × and clear. Match the numbered squares and create one continuous closed loop. An × is only a note. Use Check to review overfilled clues or branching points, and a hint when you need an edge corrected.
Rules in this version
- A numbered square must have exactly that many surrounding loop edges. Unnumbered squares have no such constraint.
- Draw one closed circuit, without branches or four lines meeting at a point.
- Separate loops are invalid even if their surrounding clues fit.
- Cross marks are optional notes. Pausing or moving focus away stops active time.
Tips for playing
- Start with zeros and threes, then use × marks to retain deductions.
- Avoid closing a small circuit before checking whether the remaining clues still need it to extend.
Questions about this game
Must every unused edge have a cross?
No. Crosses help you reason, but completion only requires the correct clues and one connected closed loop.
Is the daily puzzle freshly generated?
It is selected from the 120 Hard boards using the browser date. The same collection also remains available in normal play.
