How to Play Mahjong Solitaire
Select two compatible free tiles to remove them. Clear the entire board to win. Turtle is the starting layout; Pyramid, Fortress, Bridge, and Lotus are also available.
Which Tiles Can Be Matched
A tile is free when nothing covers it and at least one horizontal side is open. Characters, bamboo, circles, winds, and dragons match the same symbol. Any flower matches another flower, and any season matches another season.
Controls
Click or tap two tiles. On a keyboard, arrows move between free tiles and Enter or Space selects. H gives a hint, U undoes, and R restarts. Escape clears a selection or opens the menu.
Tips
Look at the upper layers first. Before removing a pair, consider which tiles will become free. If you get stuck, a hint or shuffle may reveal another path.
