About Light Grid
Pressing one tile in Light Grid flips a cross: the chosen light and its existing neighbours above, below, left and right. Unlit tiles are valid choices too. Play 3 × 3, 5 × 5 or 7 × 7 boards, generate a new solvable position, or return to the shared UTC daily 5 × 5 puzzle. The Minimum display refers to the initial board, while hints find an optimal continuation from the lights currently visible. Undo removes your last press; Restart returns to the same starting pattern. Active time starts on your first press and pauses in the menu. Ongoing games, completed results and daily streaks are stored locally, without a cloud save adapter.

How to play
Press a tile to flip that light and its orthogonal neighbours. Both lit and unlit tiles can be pressed. Clear every light to finish the puzzle.
Rules in this version
- Starter is 3 × 3, Classic 5 × 5 and Expert 7 × 7.
- A press flips the selected tile and its existing orthogonal neighbours. It never flips diagonal neighbours.
- Unlit tiles are playable.
- Win when all lights are off.
- Minimum is the starting board optimum. A hint gives a press from a shortest solution of the current board.
Tips for playing
- Pressing the same tile twice cancels its changes but still adds two moves.
- Track the pattern of presses rather than chasing whichever light is currently on.
- Restart keeps the initial board; New puzzle chooses another one.
Questions about this game
Are optimal hints a uniqueness claim?
No. A hint belongs to a minimum-press solution of the current board. Other equally short solutions can exist.
Does replaying Daily increase the streak twice?
No. The shared UTC date is counted once for the daily streak, even if you solve that board again.
