About Tents and Trees: Forest Camp
Forest Camp makes Tents and Trees a calm counting-and-spacing puzzle. Match a tent to every tree, meet the outside clues and keep all tents apart. Choose among 60 Easy 6×6 boards, 366 Medium 7×7 boards and 60 Hard 8×8 boards, each checked for a single tent arrangement. Optional grass marks help track exclusions. The daily puzzle uses your device’s local calendar and a 366-day repeating Medium selection. Hint reveals a tent; Check inspects your arrangement. Unfinished games, future undo history and statistics stay in this browser. New hint-free times have a separate record, alongside the preserved general best. Sound starts off unless an existing preference explicitly enables it.

How to play
Pick a difficulty and Play. Cycle a square through tent, grass and empty. Use the row and column counts to place the required tents without touching corners or edges. Check can highlight a broken rule. A hint adds one solution tent; undo or clear your own incorrect placements first if needed.
Rules in this version
- Pair every tree with one tent immediately above, below, left or right.
- Every tent is used in exactly one tree pairing; nearby extra trees are allowed when a full matching exists.
- Tents cannot share an edge or meet at a corner.
- Each row and column contains exactly its indicated number of tents. Grass marks are optional.
Tips for playing
- A clue of zero rules out an entire line. Completing a line’s count rules out its remaining squares.
- Do not stop at local adjacency: a group of trees must have enough distinct tent positions available.
