A die and a garden of surprises.
About Snakes & Ladders
Explore a 100-square garden in Zarocer’s edition of Snakes & Ladders. Every roll might bring a helpful ladder or an unexpected snake. Play against the computer or share one device with up to four people. Choose a classic finish that requires an exact roll, or a flexible finish where reaching or passing 100 is enough. Switch languages, pause, and return to a game saved in the same browser.
How to play
Choose the computer or two, three, or four local players. Select a classic or flexible finish and start the game. Press Roll the die on your turn. Your token moves automatically. Reach square 100 before the other tokens.
Rules in this version
- Tokens start off the board, and token 1 goes first.
- A six-sided die determines movement. Rolling six does not give an extra turn.
- Land at the foot of a ladder to climb up, or on a snake’s head to slide down.
- With a classic finish, an overshoot means staying put. With a flexible finish, reaching or passing 100 wins.
- Tokens may share squares. The first token to reach 100 wins.
Tips for playing
- Check your chosen finish rule before starting.
- Watch where each roll ends: passing a ladder does not activate it.
- Choose a flexible finish to avoid waiting for an exact final roll.
- This is a game of chance. No strategy can guarantee a win.
