About Russian Solitaire
Russian Solitaire keeps Yukon’s freedom to move an exposed card with everything below it, but requires the destination card to be one rank higher of the same suit. There is no stock: progress depends on uncovering the seven-column layout. Choose card makes covered-by-other-cards selections easier, Undo survives reload and a public deal number lets you replay or share classic deals.

How to play
Select a face-up card and move it with every card below it onto a card one rank higher of the same suit. Only a king-led group can fill an empty column. Build exposed end cards to their suit foundations from ace to king.
Rules in this version
- The seven columns contain 1, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 cards. Column one is face up; the others end with five exposed cards each.
- Any exposed card moves with the entire group below it, even when that group is unordered.
- Tableau destinations must be one rank higher of the same suit. Only a king-led group fills an empty column.
- Uncover the source column’s last covered card when its exposed cards leave. Only pile-end cards build to foundations. There is no stock.
Tips for playing
- Try to reveal a covered card without burying a same-suit landing card you still need elsewhere.
- Use Choose card for a readable list of exposed cards and legal destinations. Auto build does not look at covered cards.
Questions about this game
What is different from Yukon Solitaire?
Russian Solitaire builds downward by the same suit rather than alternating colours. Unordered groups can still move.
Can a deal number tell me whether I will win?
No. It reproduces a classic deal for replay or sharing, without promising solvability or revealing hidden cards.
