A thoughtful card duel: defend your hand and leave the last cards to your rival.
About Durak
Durak turns a small hand of cards into a contest of attack, defence and timing. In this Zarocer edition, you play two-player throw-in Durak, also called Podkidnoy, against an AI that cannot see your hand. The game uses 36 cards, with six cards dealt to each player and a visible trump suit. Beat an attack with a stronger card of the same suit or a trump, then decide whether to preserve your best cards or pick up the table. A successful defence gives you the next attack. Once the stock runs out, emptying your hand becomes the goal. Practice offers gentle and tactical rivals, while the daily challenge gives everyone the same UTC deal against the tactical rival. Local saving lets you return to an unfinished game. Play with a mouse, keyboard or touch, and switch between eleven languages without restarting your deal.
How to play
Open an attack with any card. Defend with a higher card of the same suit or a trump. A trump requires a higher trump. Add a card matching any rank on the table, within the bout limit, or end the attack. If you pick up, take the whole table; the attacker may add legal cards before closing the bout. Refill to six cards after each bout, attacker first. Draw the visible trump last. Empty your hand after the stock runs out. Both hands empty at the end of a bout means a draw.
