ABOUT THE GAME
About Crazy Eights
Match the discard’s rank or active suit, then use a wild eight to choose a new suit. Crazy Eights offers a traditional 100-point match alongside a one-round option for shorter sessions. The daily game is a single UTC deal against the Normal opponent. Three levels, public-hand hints, pause and local continuation help you follow every round without revealing hidden cards.
How to play
Play a matching rank or suit, or any eight and choose its suit. Drawing one card ends your turn. Empty your hand to score the opponent’s remaining cards.
Rules in this version
- Deal seven cards each. Eights are wild; other plays must match the discard rank or active suit.
- Drawing one card ends the turn. This edition has no last-card announcement penalty or additional action cards.
- Recycle all discards except the top card when stock runs out. Pass only when neither play nor draw is possible.
- Eights score 50, tens and face cards 10, aces 1 and other cards their number. Classic ends at 100 points; One round ends after one hand.
Tips for playing
- Choose a suit that leaves useful follow-up plays. Keeping an eight can help when an opponent changes the active suit.
- Hints compare your own legal cards. Hard evaluates connections and the opponent’s visible hand size, without reading hidden cards or stock order.
Questions about this game
Can I play the card I just drew?
Not in this edition. Drawing one card ends your turn.
How is One round different from Daily?
One round deals a fresh hand at your chosen level. Daily uses the shared UTC deal and the Normal opponent. Both finish after one hand.
