ABOUT THE GAME
About Cribbage
A complete two-player cribbage match against the computer, with three difficulty levels, automatic scoring, and a daily challenge. Play on desktop or mobile without signing up.
How to play
Each player receives six cards. Choose two for the dealer's crib. Take turns playing your four cards without exceeding 31. Then count both hands and the crib with the starter card. First to 121 points wins.
Rules in this version
- During play, 15 scores 2, 31 scores 2, consecutive pairs score 2/6/12, runs score their length, and the last card or go scores 1. In a hand, each combination of 15 scores 2, each pair scores 2, runs score their length, a hand flush scores 4 or 5, and a jack matching the starter suit scores 1. Only a five-card flush scores in the crib. A jack starter gives the dealer 2 points.
Tips for playing
- Keep fives and combinations that can reach 15.
- The crib belongs to the dealer, so your discards should change with the deal.
- During play, avoid leaving a count of 5 or 21 when your opponent may answer with a ten.
