ABOUT THE GAME

About Clock Solitaire

Clock Solitaire is a game of chance with one prescribed next step. Deal 52 cards into thirteen face-down piles of four, reveal from the centre, then place that card at the pile matching its rank. Its destination becomes the next pile to reveal. The fourth king ends the chain; completing all 52 placements is a win. Play each reveal and placement yourself or watch Auto play at one of three speeds. A hint marks the correct visible-card destination, rather than choosing a strategic move. Undo keeps newly recorded actions across reloads. Menus and loss of focus stop playback, and active time pauses outside play. Random deals, a shared UTC daily deal and local results give you ways to return without adding rules that change the classic.

How to play

Reveal a card, then place it at its matching pile. Aces use hour one, 2–10 their numbered hours, jacks hour eleven and queens hour twelve; kings use the centre. Reveal the next card from that destination.

Rules in this version

  • Deal 52 face-down cards into thirteen piles of four.
  • Start by revealing from the centre.
  • Place the revealed card at its rank pile, which becomes the next active pile.
  • The fourth king ends the chain.
  • Win only when all 52 cards have been placed.

Tips for playing

  • Read the revealed rank; there is no strategic destination choice.
  • Choose a slower Auto play pace to follow the chain, or advance it by hand.
  • An early fourth king is a normal losing outcome, not a broken deal.

Questions about this game

Can hints improve my chance of winning?

No. Classic Clock has a prescribed destination for each revealed card. Hints identify that destination, and the deal determines the outcome.

What happens to an old 1.0.0 save?

Its progress is preserved. Old actions had no stored Undo history, so only actions recorded by this version can be undone after the update.
