About Calculation Solitaire
Calculation Solitaire starts four foundations at ace, two, three and four. Their sequences advance by steps of one, two, three and four, wrapping after king; suits do not matter. Draw the other 48 cards once, keeping future foundation cards accessible in four holding piles. Inspect piles reveals only dealt cards, and Build reserve top lets you play an available top card even while holding a drawn card.

How to play
Draw one card, then place it on a foundation that needs its rank or into a holding pile. Only holding-pile top cards can build to foundations. Complete all four thirteen-card sequences, each ending at king.
Rules in this version
- Foundations start at ace, two, three and four and advance in steps of one, two, three and four respectively, regardless of suit.
- When a rank sum exceeds 13, subtract 13: for example, 12 + 4 requires a three. Each foundation finishes with its thirteenth card, a king.
- Draw the remaining 48 cards once. Place the held card before drawing again. There is no redeal.
- Holding-pile tops can build to a compatible foundation, including while a drawn card is held. Holding cards cannot be rearranged or transferred between piles.
Tips for playing
- Read the next-rank indicator instead of assuming a low rank is needed sooner. Different foundations follow different cycles.
- Inspect piles shows their dealt order. Avoid covering a card that already fits a foundation; hints never inspect the stock.
Questions about this game
Why does three follow queen on the fourth foundation?
That foundation advances by four. Queen is 12: 12 + 4 is 16, and subtracting 13 gives three. Read the next-rank indicator for each foundation.
Can I rearrange the holding piles?
No. You can only move their exposed top card to a compatible foundation. Inspect piles shows the order without changing it.
