Watch, remember and repeat. Every round adds one more shape to a pattern that tests your focus.

ABOUT THE GAME

About Sequence Memory

Sequence Memory is a pattern recall game built around four simple buttons. Each pad has its own shape and tone: a diamond, triangle, square or circle. Watch a sequence light up, then reproduce its exact order. A successful round adds another shape, turning an approachable first pattern into a steadily growing memory challenge. Practice gives you three lives and a choice of relaxed, balanced or quick playback. The goal is to complete twenty rounds. A wrong choice costs one life and replays the current round. You can pause, replay a pattern or continue a locally saved session. Personal records stay in your browser and are tracked separately for each mode and pace. The Daily challenge gives everyone the same sequence for the current UTC day. It starts with two shapes, uses balanced playback and offers twelve rounds with just one life. Completed rounds are the primary result; shorter elapsed time breaks a tie. Replaying a pattern, pausing or restoring a session keeps the attempt playable locally while ending its competitive eligibility. The game prepares a candidate for the portals' ranking system, but this standalone build has no active global leaderboard. Play with a mouse, touch screen or number keys 1 through 4. Distinct shapes help identify the pads without relying on color alone, and sound is optional. There is no account requirement, no advertising inside the game and no download to install. It is an opportunity to practice pattern recall at your own pace, without promising medical benefits or guaranteed cognitive improvement.

How to play

Choose Practice and a pace, or the Daily challenge. Press play and watch the order of the illuminated shapes. When Your turn appears, tap the pads in order or use keys 1–4. Complete a pattern to advance. Practice gives three lives; Daily gives one. Space pauses or resumes, Escape pauses. Replay or restore makes a daily attempt local-only.
